This is our entry for the Stylophone 50th Anniversary song contest. The stylophone has been an integral part of our sound from the beginning - it's easy to pick up and play, deceptively simple in its design, but full of great lead, pad, and atmospheric sounds when run through a pedalboard and amp. For this track, we ditched the guitars completely and used layers of original Stylophone parts, coupled with the wild Gen X-1 for some heavy slides. We don't want to give up all of our secrets, but our favorite sounds came from running the Stylo through the Walrus Descent with an octave up and down added to the swirly reverb goodness.
